Equal parts grimy Oakland hipster and sequined lounge singer, Wallpaper is just the kind of culture mash Pop band you'd expect to come out of the raucous Bay Area club scene. Infectious hooks and self effacing narratives are the duo's hallmarks but a closer listen reveals a dinosaur radio DJ alter ego, ringtone subscription ploys and a loveably silly sensibility that can only be fully appreciated live.
